The wellness centre was established in the premises of the hotel Kaskády in order to take advantage of the therapeutic effects attributed to the thermal waters of nearby mineral spring. These springs are the source of warm mineral water for the hotel swimming pools, their beneficial effects being augmented by relaxation programs offered by the wellness center. To indulge the hotel guests and for optimum effect, the center professionals provide relaxation massage programs, wraps and bubble baths.

Thermal pools
Everyone can enjoy the health-giving effects of the healing water which supplies all pools at the Kaskády Hotel – and not only those who are in poor health. All residents can use the indoor thermal pool, relaxation pool and outdoor pool as their sizes are a generous 22 x 20 m and 14 x 11 m respectively.
Naturally the indoor pool is warmer, its temperature floating around 34°C while the outdoor pool’s being somewhat cooler floats around 28°C.
According to a professional balneological analysis, the water analyzed and classified as follows:
"The mineral water's major component is sulfate anion, in which bonded calcium is dominant, thus placing it among the Gypsocrens, Aquae gypsosane group. Amongst the other positive ions binding to the sulfate anion is also magnesium.
This overall combination places this category within the Picrocrens, Aquae gypamarae sub-group. This places the waters in the sulphurous or sulfaneous healing class of: Teiascrens, Aquae sulfuricae"
